This canvas tent with a thatched roof can be a more convenient way to enjoy the charms of camping.
Guests tell us they enjoy a closeness to nature here. Yet you don’t have to set up your own tent, and you have a regular bed with a real mattress. The toilet and shower are just a short footpath away. As the sun sets over the lake, staff will bring you lit kerosene lamps to enjoy the stars by. Fall asleep to the sound of waves, and in the morning step right down from your tent and onto the beach. If you fancy a barbecue, just ask for some firewood and a set of cookware and dishes.
We’ve just completed the outdoor kitchen for you to use when you stay in the bedded tent. It contains a tabletop gas cooker, and a sink, and is equipped with pots, pans, plates and cutlery. But most importantly, it’s monkeyproof.
If you’d like to rent the cottage, but your group is too big, the bedded tent can function as an ’extension’ of the cottage since it is nearby. It’s also a more comfortable alternative to regular camping.
(Update 2013: We've added another bedded tent, so we now have two, in two different places. One has two single beds, the other has one double bed.)

It’s best to know beforehand that there is no restaurant here. All our accommodation is equipped for self-catering, so if you bring food from town, you can cook your own. Picnic on the beach? Barbecue on the sunset deck? Coffee and cakes under the mango tree? The choice is yours. (But don’t feed the monkeys. Don’t eat the zebras. Please!)
